In just ten years, Shatterproof has brought to life many of the most life-saving aspects of scientific research that were buried in medical journals, unfunded. Donations Outside of Your Fundraising Page
Checks
If you mail a physical check, it may take up to 6 weeks (about 1 and a half months) to process and post during peak event times. If more than 6 weeks have passed since you submitted your donation, or you have additional questions about your fundraising total, please contact your Event Lead.
Addressing a Check
- Make your check out to “Shatterproof”. If you receive a check made payable to your team, write “Shatterproof” above your team's name.
- If it’s made out to you, please endorse the check payable to “Shatterproof”.
- Please write your name, team name, and event location on the memo line of every check you send, e.g., “John Smith, Team Smash the Stigma, Chicago 2024."

Donor Receipts
Everyone who makes an online donation will receive an email confirmation receipt for tax purposes. Mailed donations will also receive a receipt sent to the address provided. If you need a new copy of your receipt sent, please contact your Event Lead.
