Shatterproof's NYC Walk Emcee
Dave Price

Dave Price is the Weather Anchor for NBC 4 New York's 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. newscasts. He is also seen frequently on TODAY, MSNBC, & NBC News NOW. Prior to joining NBC 4 New York, Price co-anchored FOX 5's Good Day New York and served as the Weather Anchor for CBS's The Early Show and The CBS Evening news with Katie Couric.

Dave has had a first-person view of some of the most momentous events of our time. He was in New York City, on-air, as the first tragic moments of September 11 unfolded. He endured Hurricane Katrina inside the Superdome in New Orleans with the people he was covering, he was on the ground in the immediate aftermath of the Haiti earthquake in 2010, and along the Gulf Coast after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. He's reported from the front lines of the war on terror in Afghanistan and Iraq as well.

Dave has flown with the Blue Angels over the Florida coastline, canoed down the Amazon in Ecuador, ridden Harley Davidsons in the Australian Outback, and pretty much everything in-between. His travels have taken him to every state in the nation and to over 90 countries. Dave has won five Emmy awards and a Gracie award for his work.

Dave has taken on projects behind the camera as well. In 2010, he wrote and produced "Reporting For Service with Bryan Anderson" - a documentary which profiled the return of a triple-amputee Iraq war veteran and his efforts to engage others in service to the community. In 2012, Dave was recognized with an Emmy Award for producing.

One of his most cherished volunteer efforts is his long standing involvement entertaining U.S. troops serving overseas. For close to two decades, Dave has been traveling to military installations around the globe to do stand-up comedy for troops stationed overseas during the holiday season.

Dave holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University and a master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. He spent almost a decade as a human resources executive with Pepsi-Cola, Texaco and Taco Bell.

Dave is a certified scuba instructor, licensed pilot and avid photographer. He and his wife Jacqueline live in New York City with their son and daughter, Eli and Caroline.
